Delegation is an essential strategy that many new administrators have difficulty putting into practice; yet it is an effective way to save time and enhance leadership capacity within the school.

Delegation is important. You cannot do all the work yourself.

Take care not to delegate too many tasks to just one or two willing and able people. Try to involve as many staff members as appropriate.
