Once you have familiarized yourself with the current status of information technology in your new school, you will want to begin the process of planning for the future.
Remember that a planning process was in place before you arrived, so you will be building on what went before. As in all areas of school improvement planning, you will want to acknowledge the work done to date.
Check your board policies and procedures regarding school technology plans.
If the board has a template for school plans, follow it. Beyond that, think outside the box when developing your plan.
