  • Needs to reflect the student achievement data
  • Look at one year and multi-year planning
  • Based on gap analysis of existing resources
  • Include needs of school technology plan
  • Develop plans to purchase big ticket items
  • Practice smart spending after analyzing all of the issues
  • Develop a contingency plan for unexpected expenditures
  • Align budget with board and Ministry initiatives.
