The Education Act Last Updated: 2012-06-15
The Education Act, Section 265 and Regulation 298 refer to the Duties of a Principal. While there is no specific mention of financial responsibilities, there is a reference to reporting and the organization and management of the school through the supervisory officer. Implied in that is the financial management of school-based activities, which is elaborated on further in the local board policies and procedures.
